The Furka-Grimsel-Grosse Scheidegg route begins in Andermatt and continues along spectacular pass roads over three passes and through three cantons. This day-long excursion will introduce you to low valleys and breathtaking views of stunning mountain scenery.

The Furka-Grimsel-Grosse Scheidegg trip treats passengers to a day-long excursion over three spectacular mountain passes. Along the way, there's plenty of time to enjoy the peace and serenity of the mountains as you marvel at the beautiful landscapes that open up around you.

Enjoy the breathtaking trip along the Furka Pass, past the famous Rhone glacier and on to Gletsch. Anyone wishing to get up close and personal with the ice is free to visit the glacier grotto, which is rebuilt each year, at Hotel Belvédère (PostBus stop Belvedere Furka).

On your journey over the Grimsel Pass, you will drive by many sparkling reservoirs and on to another spectacular viewpoint (PostBus stop Grimsel Passhöhe). On stopping for an hour in Meiringen, be sure to treat yourself to a spot of lunch (PostBus stop Merigingen, Bahnhof). Stunning views of the Eiger's North Face await you at Grosse Scheidegg (PostBus stop Grosse Scheidegg).

An Alpine Ticket costing CHF 15.00 is required for the stretch between Andermatt and Schwarzwaldalp. Anyone wishing to travel on individual sections of this route will only need an Alpine Ticket for certain parts.

Reservations for individual travellers recommended.
