A highlight of any Swiss trip must be the scenic routes which show our beautiful country from its best side. Enjoy the sights from the panoramic windows of a train, a boat deck or one of the yellow Postbuses, and get to know Switzerland’s natural beauty in a spectacular manner.
We will present you eight panorama routes by train, bus or boat, as well as 22 ideas for some interesting excursions full of new experiences and sights. There are new panorama cars on several routes, giving you even bigger windows from which to enjoy the sights. Also be sure to take advantage of the gastronomic offerings on the many train and boat routes.
Of course, your Swiss Pass is valid on practically all of the mentioned routes (exceptions are explicitly stated). Some train, Postbus and boat rides impose an additional and mandatory seat reservation (including a supplement) which is charged separately. If buying your tickets abroad, make your seat reservations well in advance at your point of sale, or once in Switzerland, go to any larger Swiss train station.
