Eating and drinking.
Look out for the knife and fork symbol on timetables or on departure signs. Trains with this pictogram have a dining car or at least a bistro. Make yourself at home here and see what’s on offer. You’ll always find something to suit. The travelling restaurants may be found on the ICN and InterCity route networks, between Lucerne and Interlaken East, as well as on the international routes. The dining cars on the Rhaetian Railway in Grisons offer passengers a special experience, as do those on the Golden Pass Line and the Glacier Express. You will have an experience your taste buds will never forget! Here, all you have to do, as everywhere else in the Swiss Travel System, is look out for the knife and fork pictogram. In many other trains a RailBar will come rolling right up to your seat. This is your chance to choose from a selection of sandwiches and drinks, or to even enjoy a real espresso from the mobile espresso machine.
